Counterpoint: Hazel, John and Hazel's Father Myriel

Counterpoint: Myriel and John Expressions

I also did some expressions of my Skylanders: Sensei Tiger

Counterpoint Studies and Expressions

I've been studying Tiki Masks in order to integrate the pacific island culture into the universe.

I've challenged myself to draw 5 or more character expressions with my Counterpoint characters without reference.

WIse Old Tree and Myriel's Home

I still have a way to go in designing this character, but the leader of the area is a kind, wise old tree.

Since John is an alien to the inhabitants of this planet Myriel brings John in front of the Grand Council for regular meetings to ensure that he does not pose a danger to the plant aliens.

This is the first time that Hazel brings baby John home to her Father Myriel after finding him on the crashed ship.

Myriel

The reference for Myriel is Father Myriel from Les Miserables. Father Myriel was the Priest who Val Jean robbed from and helped Val Jean start his road to change. I choose this name reference since this character is the one to take John in and took care of him after his daughter Hazel found him. Im looking for less familiar names for my alien characters. I gave him the design on his scientist outfit as a reference to a Priests robe.
