Pencil Layouts of 3D Paper Hatch

I just got done laying out the design of each piece and scanned it in. Next I will clean up and color it in Illustrator. After that print it off and put it together and keep making tweaks until I feel good about it.

Bottom area
Circle area is where the Hatch will rest and the half circle is where the Outer walls will stand.

Outer Right Side
Hatch Lid and Connector Pieces. The Hatch door will be a removable lid. The connectors go from the Hatch to the Outer dirt walls.

The Hatch Trading Cards Holder

This is what I'm currently working on for the next Room 23 Store product. Its a 3 Dimensional holder for the Lost Trading Cards in the shape of the Dharma Swan Hatch outside. This is a very rough one, I saved and used mistake Trading card sheets to experiment. I'm working on streamlining it. Then I plan on drawing out the details on each piece, then color and cleaning them up in Illustrator. Then once I can figure out how to mass produce them and find an adequate box to ship it cheaply enough, but that's durable, I plan on adding it to my store.

Mall Sketches

Boone Carlyle

I did a Red Shirt version as a reference to the Star Trek Red Shirt comment that Boone made a few episodes before he died.

Michael Dawson

I did this way back near the end of season 2 when I first started to design Lost characters when I was playing with both Photoshop and Illustrator (which I settled on) Theres some major neck/head problems, but I like the feeling of it.

Captain Kirk Drawing Club Session

Every once in awhile when I'm able to I like to go to "The Drawing Club" for Themed Costume drawing sessions. This week was Captain Kirk, they had episodes of the original Star Trek playing on one of the walls. The model looked a lot like James T. Kirk.
